True coin collectors are looking for rare coins in great condition. It is difficult to find coins like that. They exist, but they are usually very expensive. We put a list together of the years and mintmarks that are rare for each coin series. Plenty of older coins exist that are rare, but the coins below are the styles of coins that we see most frequently. Just because your coin isn't on this list doesn't mean that it is worthless. This is just the best of the best. Most coins we deal with aren't super rare; but we still need them!
